After looking at tonight’s television listings we’ve come up with our list of shows we are going to be playing, shows we will pass on this week and the trash reality shows we cannot miss.
Play:
The Middle: The Middle has not really had an off week this season. We will tune in tonight to watch Frankie host a japanese exchange student and teach him how an average American family lives.
Survivor: Nicaragua: Survivor continues to suck us in week after week. This week we will tune in to see the contestant’s react when Jeff says the two most scary words for any Survivor contestant, double elimination.
Modern Family: Modern Family had it’s first off week last week with the “Strangers on a Treadmill” episode. The show was still funnier than all the other comedies on television right now. This week we tune in to see Modern Family get it’s groove back.
Law and Order: SVU: The Law and Order drama failed to impress us with the deadly mushroom plot last week. However, it’s Law and Order:SVU, we know it will regain it’s footing. We will tune in this week to see if the series wows us or falls flat for the second week in a row.
Law and Order: LA: We have yet to be impress with the series but we continue to keep it on our playlist because of its association to the Law and Order empire. We will give it another shot this week.
Pass:
Cougar Town: There was some real drama last week when Jules learned that Grayson and Laurie hooked up. Unfortunately, we found ourselves bored by the drama and counting down the minutes until the end of the episode. We will pass this week.
Better With You: The show has failed to spark our interest week after week. We will pass.
Hell’s Kitchen: Not on tonight. Tune in for baseball instead.
America’s Next Top Model: Tyra said it best last week, Ann winning top photo for 5 consecutive weeks is making the show boring. We’ll pass.
Hellcats: The over the top cheerleading drama will not be airing tonight.
Criminal Minds: Once again we are in a TiVo scheduling dilemna. We would watch Criminal Minds but it conflicts with SVU and Modern Family. Unfortunately, we have to pass.
The Defenders and The Whole Truth: Pass. How these shows have managed to escape cancellation is beyond us.
Trash:
The Challenge: Cutthroat: All the manufactured and immature drama of The Challenge seems so petty in light of the news about T.J. Lavin. The host of the MTV series remains in a coma after a major crash at a BMX event. We tune in this week to see T.J. at his best. We continue to keep him in our thoughts and hope he makes a speedy recovery.
